Check Out the Curves on Disco-rectangle by Infinity Drain

Frankly, how exciting can a drain be… amirite? Well, actually, you may disagree once you see this impressive new product from Infinity Drain called Disco-rectangle. Typically, any drain you find—indoor or outdoor—are either a simple circle or linear. But what if it were possible to make a drain more sexy? That’s right: I said, “sexy!”

When a client approached Infinity Drain and asked for a “pill-shaped” design, contoured to complement the sinuous nature of their bathroom, the team responded with a resounding, “Yes!”—even though it was something they’d never done before.

“We didn’t hesitate,” says Angela Hoggan Staten, Infinity Drain's vice president of marketing. “The team leaned into collaboration and problem solving to turn this unique vision into reality.” The result was the Disco-rectangle—”proof that innovation often begins with listening and saying ‘yes’ to new ideas,” she adds.

This tile insert linear drain is similar to other Infinity Drain products, save for the curved edges. So you can expect the same exceptional performance characteristics Infinity Drain is known for, but with a more appealing style. The tile insert comes in 10 finishes designed to coexist seamlessly with showers, wet rooms, and other bathroom fixtures.

But, what about hair clogs, you may wonder? I had the same thought, and Infinity Drain already considered that issue. Disco-rectangle—like all of the brand’s drains—come equipped with a hair maintenance kit that includes a simple, ergonomic lift-out key and a patented easy-clean hair basket that collects hair in the reservoir beneath the tile insert before it clogs the drain; a user guide and a zippered pouch complete this thoughtful package.

If it seems like Infinity Drain has thought of everything with this pretty new product that even promotes efficient water flow and hair management, I’d tend to agree. Based on the new Disco-rectangle, I rescind my original statement and say, yes, drains can actually be quite exciting, especially when they surprise you with a sleek aesthetic and stellar performance properties. I stand corrected!
